A Pimp Post for the One and Only Cho Kyuhyun

When carmendove announced that she wanted to do a massive pimp post I jumped at the chance to pimp my K-Pop bias and favorite vocalist in the entire world. Hopefully by the end of this pimp post you'll adore this badass motherfucker as much as I do. Yes, I called him a BAMF.
I. Facts

Nicknames: Bedkyu, gamekyu, any word you can think of and then add "Kyu" on the end of it
Birthday: February 3, 1988
Origin: Seoul, South Korea
Occupation: Singer, Dancer, Actor, Pro-gamer, Smarty-pants (he won a Math Olympiad when he was in high school), Sane one of Super Junior, bringing down the group's average age, My Boyfriend
II. Joining and Being Pimped By SM Entertainment
Kyuhyun entered SM Entertainment after winning third place in Chin Chin's 2005 Singing Competition. And what a beautiful voice they found:

On May 23, 2006, SM announced that Kyuhyun would be added to the company's newest debuted boy band Super Junior as the thirteenth member. The addition of Kyuhyun made the group's status change from a rotation group with graduations and member changes to a permanent group. At first fans who had supported the original twelve didn't like their new angelic voiced Oppa (and we all know that certain people flip out when they hear the word 'new member'). However he eventually won them over. And how could he not? Look at him!
I would love for him to come down my chimney on Christmas Eve. ♥
Kyuhyun's first single with Super Junior was 'U' and his first performance of the song was on May 26, 2006.
As if Kyuhyun joining the group weren't awesome enough, it was announced that he would a part of Super K.R.Y, a sub-group for the three best vocalists in Super Junior. K.RY debuted on November 5, 2006 with the gorgeous ballad 'The One I Love'.

And that's not all. In early 2008 Kyuhyun was placed in the Super Junior sub-group Super Junior - M which does promotional activities in China! SM sure does know how to pimp this guy huh? He's even on a postage stamp in China! Talk about random. XD
Super Junior - M should've been called Super Junior - S for sexy, because that's what Kyuhyun became when he got there. XD
III. Car Accident
I hate talking about this but it is a Kyuhyun pimp post.
On April 19, 2007, Kyuhyun, Leeteuk, Shindong, Eunhyuk and two of their managers were involved in a terrible car accident in which the driver lost control of the vehicle. Though Shindong and Eunhyuk thankfully suffered minor injuries, Eeteuk had to get stitches on his back and face.
But Kyuhyun, who was sitting behind the driver's seat at the time, was severely injured. He had a fractured hip, pneumothorax from fractured ribs, and facial stratches and bruises. He kept slipping in and out of consciousness and when he finally gained full consciousness he was mute from the shock. He spent six days in the ICU before moving to a regular hospital room. It took him one month to walk on his own again and he was released from the hospital after 78 days.
But what I find remarkable is Kyuhyun's determination during this time. Despite the fact that he hadn't fully recovered he took part in Super Junior's Variety Show 'Exploring the Human Body' (which he did awesomely on by the way) and took part in the promotional activities for the second album. He's such a hard worker and that's one of the many things that I love about him.
IV. Personality a.k.a. All About The Snarky Magnae
Kyuhyun is:
1. Hardworking: While his lazy ass hyungs are all stuffing their faces, he goes off to practice.
2. Easily embarrassed and humbled:
3. A Bad Chef. According to his interview with Bugs Music, he can't cook ramen anymore because he failed at measuring the water correctly. And he can't fry anything anymore because he used sesame oil. Fail Kyu. Fail.
4. A Pimp. Seriously he's got half of Super Junior under his thumb. And if that weren't enough he's after SHINee and SNSD too. AND MODELS. You get it Kyu. Just make sure Sungmin doesn't catch you. He's pretty scary when he's pissed.
Taemin is terrified. Don't worry Kyu, he'll come around. XD
5. An asshole. Snarky. Kyuhyun is the youngest member of the group. And as magnae, you'd think he'd be the one who adores his hyungs to death, hangs on their every word, and does everything he possibly can to please them. Well, that's how things started off. He was very adorable (:57 - 1:19) and sweet (:53 - 1:21). And then we got to see his true colors as an evil little young man. XD He's very blunt, witty, likes laughing at other people's misfortunes, and tells off his hyungs like it's nothing. And he gets away with it all because they love him. How cool is that?
V. Pairings
NOTE THE PIMP CANE.
Kyuhyun has a ton of pairings but I'll only talk about the main six. After all he is a pimp and it would take me hours to cover them all.
1. KyuMin
One of the cutest Kyuhyun pairings ever is KyuMin, which consists of Kyuhyun and Lee Sungmin, another member of Super Junior. This pairing started in 2006 when Super Junior filmed their television show "Super Junior Mini-Drama". In the episode "Dangerous Friendship - Room Mate", Kyuhyun plays the new roommate in Yesung, Ryeowook, and Sungmin's apartment. Kyuhyun starts to remind Sungmin of his deceased girlfriend and eventually Sungmin starts to develop feelings for him, despite the fact that his friend Shindong doesn't trusts him (because he is totally jealous of their relationship).
These two are too precious during the making of the mini drama. Blushes and goofy grins all around.
Interestingly enough Sungmin and Kyuhyun are roommates in real life! And we all know what goes on in that bedroom. *wink wink*

2. QMi
Next is KyuMin's biggest rival QMi, which is the relationship between Kyuhyun and Zhou Mi, a fellow member of Super Junior - M. This pairing is pretty cute and it's obvious that Kyuhyun cares a lot about Zhou Mi. It's also obvious that Kyu wears the topper's pants in this relationship. XD
3. KyuWook
KyuWook, which consists of Kyuhyun and Kim Ryeowook of Super Junior is too adorable. Ryeowook looked out for Kyuhyun a lot when he first joined the group and Kyuhyun likes to abuse him to show his affection. XD
4. KyuHae
Kyuhyun has the biggest boy crush on Donghae and it's so cute to see. Apparently he fell for Donghae after they sang together in the practice room during his trainee days (how sappy Kyu).
Also Donghae supported and encouraged him when he first got in Super Junior and always visited him in the hospital when he was recovering from the car accident. Donghae even calls him when he's in the bathroom and at four in the morning!
Kyuhyun loves him so much he wrote an essay on him. AN ENTIRE ESSAY. And it's of his love sick teenage girl spazzing about Donghae being a total kind and sexy prince to him.
It's love I tell you, love. Eunhyuk WHO? XD

Ah, Leader/Magnae love. Eeteuk adores Kyuhyun and vice versa. He gave him the nickname 'Honey' and likes to kiss and snuggle with him on live radio broadcasts. These two are shameless together. And Kyuhyun even stopped playing video games long enough to visit Sukira on Teuk's birthday. How cute! XD
6. KyuSung
This pairing amuses me because Yesung is a bit of a creeper when it comes to Kyuhyun (or anybody for that matter). But he does care about him in a normal way too, making sure that Kyuhyun eats regularly. XD
VI. The Voice
The last part of this pimp post is dedicated to Kyuhyun's voice. And what a beautiful, angelic, fantastic, almost flawless voice it is. XD
1. The First Impression - Kyuhyun's super show solo with Ryeowook on piano. It's one of my favorite Kyuhyun solos, as his voice sounds so emotional.
2. 7 Years of Love - Kyuhyun sang this at famous singer/songwriter Yoo Youngsuk's request, as Youngsuk thought that his voice would do it the most justice. A great pick. XD
3. Dahl Peng Ee - Kyu sang this at Yesung's radio show 'Miracle for You' and sounded gorgeous.
4. A Whole New World - Shortly after his recovery from the car accident Kyuhyun sang a duet with child singer Charice Pampengco on Star King and brought a couple of his band mates to tears.
5. Just for One Day - I can't talk about Kyuhyun's vocals without talking about his collaboration with CSJH The Grace on the Korean version of 'Just For One Day'. Play it. Play it I tell you and see if you don't melt. Yes Kyuhyun, I would love to be more than friends with you. XD
6. Listen…to You - This is a recent solo that Kyuhyun did for the Pasta OST. I love it. But what else is new?
7. Puff the Magic Dragon - KYUGLISH. This song is too adorable.
8. Goose's Dream - A duet with SHINee's Kim Jonghyun at the 2008 Concert. Kyuhyun had me dying by the end.
9. You Are So Beautiful - This is too damn short. Please to be singing the entire thing on a radio show soon Kyu. XD
