~A Special Gift ~
Yabu smiled as he looked around his apartment. He felt indescribably happy. After all, you didn't turn twenty every day.
He heard the doorbell ring and opened it to reveal the members of BEST. Hikaru tackled him.
"Happy Birthday Kota," he said, and Yabu squeezed his best friend tightly.
"A very happy birthday," Inoo added.
"A very happy, legal birthday," Daiki chimed in.
"A very happy legal, I-can-do-whatever-I-want-with-Akanishi-kun birthday," Takaki finished, grinning widely.
Yabu blushed.
"Guys it's been two years," he said. "Akanishi-kun's probably moved on. Now come on. The party starts in an hour."
"How cute," Daiki whispered to Hikaru. "He's worried."
"Shut up, Daiki," Yabu murmured, taking out the contents of the grocery bags the four had brought it.
"I love you too, Kota," Daiki replied grinning.

By 7:45pm, everything was set up for the party, which was to start at 8:00pm. With one hour left, Yabu drafted the rules list, which was to be tacked on the door of his apartment.
"House Party rules already?" Takaki groaned out.
"There are only five. And the last one is made especially for Daiki and Hikaru," Yabu replied, smiling.
"No sex during the party," Hikaru read, pouting.
"Killjoy," Daiki muttered.
"I'm sure you can hold out for a few hours."
"Do you know Hikaru?"
"Me?! You're the one who jumps on my twenty-four seven!"
"I don't think so! What about the time you -"
"He~ll~ooo!" Takaki exclaimed. "We don't need to hear about your extremely horny love life."
"Like you and Kei's isn't hornier," Daiki said, grinning.
"Hey don't put me in this!" Inoo exclaimed. "I don't care what you do as long as it's not around me."
"Kei you're supposed to agree with me!" Takaki exclaimed pouting.
Yabu simply rolled his eyes and smiled at his best friends.
All arguing ceased as the doorbell rang. The guest was ten minutes early. Hikaru grinned at Yabu.
"I know who that is!" Hikaru sang and Daiki playfully hit him in the head.
Yabu smiled weakly and went to get the door, his heart pounding in his chest. He opened it and froze, finding it extremely hard to breathe.
Jin was standing in front of him, bright smile and all. BEST all held their breaths and ducked behind the couch in the living room.
"Hi," he said.
"H-hi," Yabu replied, stepping aside to let Jin in.
"I'm early!" Jin exclaimed, as he looked around. "Oh well, more food for me."
Yabu laughed.
"Happy birthday, Kota," Jin said, hugging him and Yabu felt lighter than air. "I'm so proud of you."
"Thank you," Yabu said, smiling.
When Jin released him, Yabu took a deep breath.
"Umm . . . Akanishi-kun?"
"Jin," Jin replied, grinning. "You can call me Jin now."
"J-Jin," Yabu began. "I wanted to ask you something."
"Go ahead."
"About, what we talked about a while back. D-do y-you -"
Yabu was silenced by Jin's lips on his. Yabu sighed and kissed him back.
Jin parted his lips from Yabu's and smiled.
"Does that answer your question, Kota?" he asked.
Yabu smiled and hugged him.
"Yes, it does," he said and Jin laughed.
"By the way," he said. "The four stooges can come out now."
"That was too sweet!" Takaki exclaimed, popping up from behind the couch as Hikaru, Inoo and Daiki rolled their eyes.
Jin laughed.

About fifteen minutes later the house was full of people laughing, talking, dancing and congratulating Yabu on turning twenty.
Much to Hikaru and Daiki's dismay (and Yabu's amusement) Yabu locked the door to his room and the laundry room in order to reinforce House Party Rule #5. It was no surprise that he was eliminated from the Super Smash Brothers tournament by the two ganging up on him fifteen minutes later.
"You guys have issues," Yabu teased as HikaDai went for Tegoshi next.
"Don't mess with men and their needs," Daiki replied using Fox McCloud to hit Kirby (Tegoshi) with a sledge hammer.
"Yeah Kota, otherwise they take it out on innocent bystanders," Tegoshi muttered desperately trying to ward off Pikachu's (Hikaru) sword.
"Tegoshi use the bomb!" Junno yelled and Ueda rolled his eyes.
"Honestly who brings their own Wii to a party!" he exclaimed.
Finally it was time to open his presents. The majority of the gifts were simply money from his senpai, however BEST each gave him a present. Hikaru gave him a new camera ('the old one was from 1950!'), Daiki, a cell phone case, Inoo a sweater ('What? It's gets cold out!'), and Takaki a skull belt and t-shirt.
At around 11:00pm, Jin cornered Yabu in the kitchen.
"I'll give you your present soon," he said, grinning and Yabu flushed.
"How soon?" he asked.
"The sooner everyone's out of here," Jin whispered, kissing the younger man. "Whenever that happens is your call."
Jin grinned and left the kitchen, leaving Yabu extremely red in the face. Yabu gave his cheeks a gentle slap and furiously shook his head before going back into the living room.
But even then BEST could tell what happened.
"Akanishi-kun looked way to happy coming out of the kitchen," Inoo explained.
"And you looked way too flustered," Daiki added.
"Kota, you're finally growing up!" Hikaru exclaimed, pretending to cry and Yabu hit him with a couch pillow.
"Now how are we gonna get everyone out of here?" Takaki asked.
"It's selfish to end the party just to be with Jin," Yabu told them.
"But you know you want to," Daiki said, smirking. "So, let's pretend that you're sick and everyone has to leave."
"Everyone will see right through that," Yabu replied.
"Not everyone," Daiki replied. "Where's Koyama-kun?"
"Oh that's so wrong. But so brilliant." Inoo said, grinning.

In the next fifteen minutes Koyama had managed to get everyone out of the house after Inoo told him that Yabu's forehead felt extremely warm.
"You guys are the best friends a guy could ever have," Yabu said to them as Kusano, the last person to leave, waved at the five of them.
"We're simply doing our job," Hikaru said to him.
"Which is?"
"Helping you get laid," the four replied grinning.
Yabu blushed.
"So, now that our job is done we can leave," Takaki said.
"Have a good evening," Inoo added.
"A very good evening," Daiki chimed in.
"You deserve it Kota," Hikaru finished, hugging him.
"Thank you," Yabu replied, hugging him back.
"You're welcome," Hikaru told him. "Now come on Daiki!"
And with that he dragged younger man out of the house.
"Hornball," Takaki muttered as he and Inoo left.
Yabu laughed as he closed the door. The second the lock was in place he felt his heart begin to beat faster. He took a deep breath and then walked toward his bedroom, pausing at the door. He laughed at himself and the knots in his stomach. A second later, he felt his cell phone vibrate, notifying him that he received a text message. He opened it and read:
GO IN THE DAMN ROOM!

He smiled, turned his phone off, and opened the door to see Jin laying on the bed reading a magazine. He looked up at Yabu.
"You're earlier than I expected," he said, putting the magazine aside.
