~ A Little Longer ~
The phone call had pretty much brought Jin to his breaking point. He decided to tell Yabu everything. And he planned to do it after their performance on Music Station.
"You're sure you wanna do this?" Kame asked him. "It may crush his spirit."
"Or help strengthen it, depending on how you look at it," Jin replied. "It's his decision. I just want him to know, that's all."
"What if this ends up crushing your spirit?" Kame asked. "What if the reply is something you don't want to hear?"
Jin simply smiled.
"Then I won't give up until I get the answer I want," he replied.
"I didn't expect anything less from you," Kame replied, grinning.
Jin laughed.
"I'll call you later to tell you how it went," Jin told him.
Kame nodded, giving him an encouraging smile.
"Ganbatte Jin," he said.
"Thanks," Jin replied, grinning softly and leaving.

Back in the JUMP dressing room, BEST were changing and chatting.
"That was a great show!" Daiki exclaimed.
"KAT-TUN-senpai was great!" Inoo added.
"And Akanishi-kun looked awesome!" Takaki chimed in
"Speaking of Akanishi-kun," Hikaru began. "He couldn't keep his eyes off of you, could he Kocchan?"
Yabu froze and dropped the shirt he was holding.
"I have no idea what you're talking about," he said, quickly.
Hikaru grinned and BEST giggled.
"You know you noticed it too," Hikaru said, grinning.
"Did not!" Yabu exclaimed.
"You're getting defensive again," Hikaru replied grinning wider.
"You always do that when Hika mentions Akanishi-kun," Daiki said.
"And you blush too," Inoo added.
"Yabu-kun loves Akanishi-kun!" Takaki sang, laughing.
"I do not," Yabu muttered.
"I beg to differ," Hikaru said to him, "I read your password journal."
"EH!" Yabu exclaimed, turning red. "WHERE DID YOU FIND IT?"
"You still have a password journal?" Takaki said, grinning.
"I keep it so nosy people like Hikaru can't get in it!" Yabu exclaimed, panicking. "How did you get past the voice recognition?!"
"I do a marvelous imitation of you reciting the password," Hikaru replied, grinning. "Wanna hear?"
"No!"
"I do!" Daiki and Inoo exclaimed.
"Hikaru don't you dare."
"Akanishi-kun," Hikaru said in a gentle whisper, and Daiki, Inoo, and Takaki fell out the floor laughing.
"You're truly horrible Hika," Yabu muttered, blushing.
"Aww, I love you too Yabucchi," Hika said, hugging his best friend.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything."
Yabu felt a ripple of excitement and anxiousness flow through him as he turned to look at the only person who could make him feel that way. Quickly, he shoved on his t-shirt.
"Of course you're not, Akanishi-kun!" Hikaru exclaimed, letting go of Yabu. "We were just having a group moment. Is there something you needed?"
"Actually I was wondering if I could speak to Kota for a minute."
Yabu blinked and Hikaru and the rest of BEST exchanged large grins.
"Here!" Hikaru exclaimed, pushing Yabu towards the door. "He's all yours."
"Thanks Hika-chan!" Jin said, grinning. He took Yabu's wrist and gently led him out of the room. Yabu turned back to look at the rest of BEST in horror, mouthing the words 'I'm gonna kill you!'
BEST simply smiled and waved.
"Well our work is done," Hikaru said, smiling. "Now who's up for some food?"

"Akanishi-kun what is it?" Yabu asked as he and Jin finally entered an empty dressing room. Jin led him over to the couch.
"Yabucchi, there's something I want to tell you," he said. "I like you."
Yabu's face turned dark red. All feeling in his body ceased.
"You do?" he asked, voice cracking. "Really?"
Jin nodded.
"Akanishi-kun, I like you too!" Yabu exclaimed happily. "I always have!"
Jin smiled softly.
"I'm glad," he said. "But liking me comes at a price. You do realize that you're only eighteen."
Yabu nodded.
"Which means we can't officially be together for another two years," he said.
"Right," Jin said. "And I can wait until then. But what I want you to know is that you don't have to wait for me. You can do whatever you want. And if you still feel the same way, then we can move from there."
Yabu shook his head.
"I'm not interested in anyone else, nor will I be," he replied."I can wait two years."
"You're sure?" Jin asked, surprised. "You're sure you can wait that long?"
"I've waited three years already," Yabu replied, his face going slightly pink as Jin looked even more surprised. "Two more years won't hurt."
Jin smiled and hugged him, softly running a hand through his hair. Yabu buried his face into Jin's shoulder blade.
"I was hoping you'd wait," he said, grinning, "as selfish as that sounds."

"I can't believe it!" Hikaru exclaimed as he and Yabu were on the phone later that night. "You're going to take another two years of dateless existence?"
"Of course I am," Yabu replied grinning. "Hika, if you and Dai-Chan were in the same situation, what would you do?"
"I see your point," Hikaru replied. He heard Yabu sigh on the other end and groaned.
"Stop being so gloomy," he said. "Two years will go by like that! I promise."
"You're right," Yabu said. "And besides they say the best things come to see those who wait."
"Oh you're a perv."
"Me?! You're the one who took it completely out of context!"
"Suuure I did."
"Shut up, Hika."
