That may be a different kind of thing, but it got me thinkin: Russia were engaged in wars between France, Germany, Russians used to be almost enslaved by the Mongolians (but that was long ago tho), and we don't hate them people cuz the generations pass, and people are concerend that if those who were responsible are now dead, then the new generations have nothing to do with what their ancestors did.

Still, Armenians (I'm half armenian) were slaughtered by the Turks in 1915, and were deprived of a large territory, so now after all these years they still hate each other generally.

Is the subject of slavery still relevant if those generations had long passed away? Do you still have racial issues in the US?

have the turks given the land back, or paid reperations, or got their ass whupped by armenians? that was only 90 years ago, it takes awhile for racial tension to die down. if nothing substantial was done to atone for it then i understand why armenians are still mad

The turks have done none of that, they never apologized and still regard their actions in 1915 as righteous.. So I guess you're right

I thought it was so in the US, I mean, I used to do a little bit of research on that a while back, even read some Malcolm X, though some issues were difficult to understand. That was some years ago, plus he was talkin' about some things only black people in America were able to understand.

Anyway, are there places where a white person might get his ass whooped or killed? If there are, is this just a way of defending your turf or is it something else?
And in which state or region racial tensions are the worst?
