[It's a really short broadcast since Sheldon doesn't really like the posibilites of many people coming in a large hoard to hurt him although it's unlikely that it'll happen with this post. You'd think that if a guy's best friend leaves without much of a warning he'd be a bit sadder or at least be gloomy but then again...This is Sheldon we're ( Read more... )

Now, Sheldon, that is not a way to encourage the expanding of minds.

Sheldon's in for it now. knocksthrice December 29 2010, 17:05:45 UTC
Ms. Serenity, you haven't seen the lack of quality in that classroom.

The quality of the student is highly dependent on the teacher. Are you incapable of inspiring your students Sheldon?

S-sob. He lost his best friend and now this. knocksthrice December 30 2010, 04:27:26 UTC
They should need little inspiration assuming they have the brain capablities to do so in the first place.

Well here's hoping the scarecrows don't chase you up a tree again.

[Yes, she remembers that, it will never not be hilarious.]

What the frak kind of a word is 'zazzy'?

I assure you I have made a point to avoid the fields and the scarecrows.

Zazzy is a combination of the words, 'zany', 'pizzaz' and 'snazzy' to describe something that is greater than those three words. This cat is not zazzy enough.

You'll have to face them sooner or later. This place makes you go places you'd rather not go.

[An eyebrow raises there and the smirk becomes a little less obvious.]

You'd use those words to describe a frakking cat? Lords, a dog maybe because those things have personality but a cat?

[If Romo Lampkin didn't have a cat with personality beyond seething hatred, then no cat has a personality.]

Not if I plan things accordingly.

[A frown here.]

Cats have plenty of personality! They're rather whimsical. Dogs are what I have a problem with.

[.......... best not to ask about the zazzy, lest he learns something he doesn't particularly want to learn. Actually, there's something more pressing--] Which class are you teaching?

Classes - all of which involve physics in some way or another.

Why? Are you interested?

Not really. But I'm enrolling in highschool next semester, so I was just wondering if you were going to be my teacher.

High school? [The sound coming out of his mouth? Yeah, that's Sheldon's version of a laugh.]

No, no. I'm a teacher at the university.

[He lets out a light chuckle]

Relentless, aren't you?

Not only on your future students, but you're also hard on the cat.

Ah...

What is 'zazzy'. Is it some off shoot of "snazzy"?

It's Leonard's fault that the cat isn't zazzy enough.

[He pauses.]

So you know the word? [Takuma's the first. This makes Sheldon happy.]

Is it? I wonder if it's one of those lazy types of cats.

[He nods]

Not of "zazzy", but "snazzy". It's a strange English word, but catchy!

Oh he's not lazy he's just merely not zazzy enough.

Close enough. The word zazzy is a form of slang that is a combination of 'snazzy', 'zany' and 'pizazz'.
