First Post! aka What Knocked-Up Travel is all about.
This community has originally started up as a journal reserved for me during the time I get pregnant on our trip around the world, but so many questions arose even before we began thinking about trying, like:
Is being pregnant on the road at all a good idea?
Are there any prenatal stuff that I'd need to do and is it possible to do it on the road?
Has anybody done this before?
What is that dreaded First Trimester like?
What is the flying deadline for a carrying womb?
All these questions seem need to be answered by other women who are, or have been, pregnant already!
And so Knocked-Up Travel (knockeduptravel) became a community where I hope my questions and the questions of others like me will be answered.
Alright, alright! I understand not too many women are crazy enough to have a baby under such circumstances, but at least this can be a forum talking about being pregnant while traveling, on vacation perhaps, or traveling with infants and small children, which brings me to the other side of the border:
What is the minimum age for an infant to travel? Fly?
What are the absolute uncompromisable necessities for a baby on the road?
Any baby-travel-gadgets on the market? (Oh, how I love gadgets!)
Have you done this before? Reveal your trade secret at once! (please) :)
