This is hopefully a regular effort to both delight and confuse my friends.

Exhibit A:  A brilliant map from the 1860's that charts the progress of Napoleon's diminishing forces as he attacked Moscow and was forced to return home; it also tracks the temperature at different points during the campaign.

Well.

That was very....thing. Yes.

I don't think my inner fashion critic will be coming out from under the bed for the next several weeks. On the good side, though, the current trend of shorts, leggings, and ugg boots suddenly doesn't seem half so hideous.

2. Oh my god. I think i'm in love, if only i can decide which of those sexy well dressed lads to be in love with, that is. The sheer overwhelming-ness!
