I hadn't worked on these for quite some time, although I still intended to, until Lucian quietly snuck up behind me and smacked me over the back of the head. He's a brat like that sometimes. ^_

Very well done, and extremely fun to read. I loved all the little writing tips and explanations used and discussed. It made it a very real piece of writing. And the cute little feelings Brendan was getting for Lucian were adorable. This made me smile. You have such a way with making simple pieces of writing like this touch people. It's good to read something like that every once and a while.

And Lucian said Kosher. :D

Ooh, I love it! ^^;; Any hint of WYWM and I go absoloutly crazy, and I LOVE backstory. Are you going to be continuing the Lucian/Bren early days in more ficlets, or is this the last?

::dances:: And here I was thinking just an hour ago how nice some more WYWM backstory would be. That /really/ hit the spot. ::takes note of Lucien's advice, laughs nervously:: I hope you continue writing little bits of their backstory. I was just curious, but are you planning on doing any of the trial and less healthy aspects of their later relationship? Because I've always been curious about that (I figure its the character torture fan in me).

Odds aren't as good that I'll write that part... Part of the reason I've been enjoying this so much is because it's before all the angst and tragedy, and part of it is because I love writing Lucian before he "went bad", so to speak. Writing the actual process of his downward spiral would be pretty complicated and time-consuming. I may yet do it, but right now it's not on the list of side stories I'm going to tackle.

I have, however, been pondering writing some with Bren right after Lucian's accident... and that should appear to the character torture fan in all of us. ^_^;;
