Yay, I just finished this! Loved it! It's nice to see a woman fight back once in a while in these joker/fc fics, since it seems like they're often getting walked all over and not putting up any sort of resistance. I enjoyed watching Desdemona grow from being a footstool to the Joker's whim to being nearly his equal in crime and passion. Thanks for sharing this! =) Oh and I laughed so hard when she said 'fuck you, tranny!'

I would totally read it, but I would def. like to see more Desi/Joker relationship just cause I love watching those two interact, plus I think Scarecrow is kind of wimpy for here. I think it would also be fun to see them both deal with Batman/Bruce cause I think he is really important to contrast the Joker.

I agree on several point. Scarecrow, by canon, is more voyeuristic and less violent criminal than many other villains. He often only commits crime to continue his near-obsessive study of fear on others.

Also, he is possessive, and easily moved to jealousy. In the comics, he even killed a girl who rejected him. Fun stuff to work with there.

I wrote him in because I wanted hierarchy. As in, Joker > Desi > Scarecrow in terms of tenacity, prevalence to violence, and sheer dominance. He is to her what she is to him.

I agree, I want to bring in the Bat big time. In all honesty, I am also having just too much fun writing Desi/Joker banter. What's paramount to me is continuing with a product of equal quality that people want to read.

I think I accomplished that with Sunshine, and if I can with the next piece, I will certainly continue.
