A month ago today I received the news that a new store really close to work had just opened up for business. About a week after that I decided to go on my lunch break to check out this shop called Bobbin's Nest Studio. I am making this same dress for a friend of mine for Easter. same pattern and everything. we cut it out in her skinny size 8 and i had her try on the top before i finished attaching it to the skirt, and the top was too small, by like 4 inches!!! did the dress run small? or did i possibly do something wrong? i have been sewing for years, and i have NEVER had this happen before... I am going to try taking the darts out of the back and see if that gives her enough extra give so that i don't have to re-cut and re-sew the entire top, but i don't know if that is going to work... I did have her try the skirt, and it fit fine...

Freaking out here, PLEASE HELP!!!!
