My dear sweet little niece died this morning, 1 day short of 9.5 years of age, 17.5 months after being diagnosed with a terminal inoperable brain stem tumor. She died at home with her mother and father at her side

Her parents are doing OK all things considered. They miss her desperately but we are all also relieved that this heart breaking vigil is finally over.
