When I noticed the weather report said it might rain this afternoon, I took advantage of the cold(ish) weather and wore my Central Park Hoodie to work today. I was delighted to discover upon pushing up my sleeves that my yarn color choice actually matches my tattoo!

The Orange Cat is good. He misses you, too. I won't let him kill my hand like you do. That's love right there.

Accessorizing with tattoos reminds me of that chica in Arcadia who would get a little star tattooed somewhere on her body every couple of years. She had to cover one on her ankle or knee with a bandaid during that show, as I recall.

*hugs you*

i've thought of that girl and her stars... sometimes, when i feel like i need to do something or change something about me (color my hair, for example), it occurs to me to get a tattoo. but that impetus is short-lived because i can't decide what to have done, let alone where to put it on my body or where to have the work done. dammit. thwarted again.

money won't buy you love, but love won't buy you cargo pants?

Ah yes, necks... You'll have to explain that one to me one day... :)

Awe, big orange cat! I had a big orange cat growing up... No pets now though.

Yay for randomness!

necks is part of Shelley Jackson's Skin Project: A Mortal Work of Art. (You can find me in the "footnotes" section and on the map.) I'm word #281 out of 2095. And by complete coincidence, a friend of mine on the East Coast was assigned the word immediately before mine in the story. Once I met a woman at a coffee shop who had one of the words tattooed on her stomach.

I love my Orange Cat like crazy. He'll glare at you and threaten to kill you in your sleep, but deep down he's just a big love monkey (though he'd never admit it).
