Stitches West was a raging success as well. On Friday I worked a four hour shift at the Yarndogs booth that meshed with alce's 8 hour shift the same day. We lazed away the afternoon passing out needle inventory cards and stamping people's Ravelry

there are 71 members and twice as many discussion threads as the Aquarian Ravelers group I started last fall. Oh, well. Just like those raffles, you can't win 'em all.

i'll ask my coworker -- the one who used to be an astrologer -- whether there is something about Aquarians that makes them less likely to post or be forthcoming in online knitting and crocheting and fiber arts fora.

That is actually one of the (very few) threads in the Aquarian Ravelers group. "Why are we so quiet?"

There were the usual introductions, suggestions for horoscope sources, stories about what other signs we get along with (or don't), recently an "Upcoming birthday plans" thread...and after that what the heck else are we supposed to talk about?

hard to say. that's sort of what happens in the snb Geneva group -- we post about who's coming on which evenings, about possible charity projects... and that's pretty much it.
