I admit, though, that having several snarks rejected as insufficiently humorous wasn't a bad thing for me; it reminded me that a good snark needs to be more than just bitchy, and that being in a grumpy mood isn't sufficient reason to post to knitting_snark

Well said! Having a work computer that mysteriously lets me make comments, but not posts (and not having time or energy for das intarwebs at home) has done much the same for me, in all communities I belong to :)
