FO: Clapotis scarf

I finally finished my first Clapotis (and my largest project to date) last night.  I'm so excited...so much so that I had to take pictures before I washed/blocked it.

I did it in Bamboo by Southwest Trading Company.  The color is "electric blue" and looks a bit more electric than any of the pictures show.  I used the size needles the pattern

Wow, pretty! What size is it? How did you like working with the bamboo?

Ok, ya made me measure it. I measured 46x16". The pattern states the finished size as 55x21". Some of that could be due to how much I have it stretched out (it could probably stretch some more), and I think some of it is because I think the yarn is a little thinner than that called for in the pattern. And I'm sure some of it is my gauge

I just realized that there's a dropped stitch in your icon. It's making me twitchy; I want to fix it!

How funny...at first I thought you were talking about my Clapotis, and first I thought, "well, of course you see dropped stitches", then I thought, "OMG, is there a dropped stitch that shouldn't be dropped?!?!?! Nooooo!".

I never noticed that about the icon...but you're right!!!

I hate that too..when the flash distorts the color. The pics are never as good as the real thing. Good Job! I am sure your friend will love it.
