That is really cute! I am working on Anouk for my daughter (minus the pockets I think) and wanted to find a hat to go with it and that one is perfect. Thanks for sharing.

OH and the pinwheel blanket looks great, I attempted to start that while pregnant but got frustrated with it. Your friend is going to love this gift.

Oh, I'm glad I helped you with the hat! I should probably mention that I didn't use the size needles that the pattern called for. I did them on size 8's (the Anouk is on 6's). If you want to use the size she calls for, I'd use bulkier yarn. I can't imagine worsted looking that good on 10.5's!

I am thinking i'll use size 8's. Thats what I'm used to doing baby hats on (well 6 or 8s whichever I feel like / have available when I start them). I am knitting Anouk with Fantasy Naturale (hope I spelled that right) yarn.

Oh, I was looking for that yarn specifically, but my LYS didn't have any. Good luck on yours!

ADORABLE!!!
How much cotton tots would you say you used in each color? That's a great yarn choice!

I bought two skeins of the pink, and one each of the other two. I finished the first ball of pink when I was in the bodice part of the second piece. It didn't take much more to finish, and since there wasn't much required of either of the other colours, I was left with lots to work with!
