Beautiful socks! I've been knitting socks for about a year and find them seriously addictive. I keep finding new patterns I want to try out.

After the first pair, a knit-a-long, I've always used the short-row heel as it suits my feet, looks professional, and is really easy to add to any sock pattern, and works well for contrast heels.

They ARE addictive!
I like short row heels too, I don't quite understand why people dislike them so much. I almost always use contrast heels and they just look weird with a heel flap.

Fraternal socks - that's what they are called! Excellent. I made a pair a while back, but didn't realise they had a name. (Blue toe for the BLeft sock, Green toe for the GRight sock.) Anyway, yours are very fabulous.

Thanks! I'm not a huuuuge fan of fraternal socks, but these turned out pretty great!
