beautiful work. I'm so sucked into your writing that I get emotional from it. And this story touched me because I'm partially deaf in my left ear and it is frustrating when someone doesn't know. I can't count how many times someone at school as whispered into my ear unknowingly, only to have me turn to them blushing and say "I can't hear out of that ear."

I can't imagine being deaf but the emotions you give Justin are very moving and in my mind, perfect for the frustration. And Brian's caring to take a sign language course and to ask Justin to dance is so perfect.

Wonderful sequel. Loved how Justin was grieving the loss of his hearing while adjusting at the same time. A JT who can no longer hear the music while dancing or hear Brian's voice. Very moving.
