Wow... this was really pretty awesome. I wasn't sure when I started it because, well, I LOATHE Bela, but your description made it impossible to resist. I particularly love this bit: Somehow in that instant he’s five and scared and twenty-two and sad and twenty-seven and dying DEEEENNNN!!!! And the image of Sam splitting the sky, stunning even Hell itself with his power - gives me chills.

I did sympathize with Bela's situation when she made the deal - but I couldn't forgive her for what she did. That Dean could really resonates with me.

Well done.

Wow, that's very powerful. I liked the imagery that you used to convey their suffering.

Me too. It's one of the things I'm hoping for in S4, doesn't look too likely though unfortunately. Thank you :)

Oh. This was brutally bleak, but amazing. I loved Dean and Bela's interaction in hell, the visceral descriptions of what Bela's hell was like. Wow.

I'm loving the various permutations of hell that the writers are coming up with so far, and yours with their histories intermingling with stark boredom is just one of the varied few. What gets me most about the fic is the ending, with Dean telling Bela to stay. Man. That effing hurt, and I like the manic laughter that followed it. That's damn cool. Thanks for sharing the fic. I enjoyed every pinch, pull, giant!Sam of it.

Thank you so much. One of my biggest fears when writing this was that I would be accidentally copying someone else's idea of hell and they'd be doing it better. It's such a blank landscape to work on which is both fun and you know, terrifying. So I'm glad my version worked for you :)
