Yuletide Again!

Dec 06, 2013 21:23

The other night, as I started off to bed, I saw some many strange things on the floor! No! Not the rug, it is strange and has many peculiar tales to tell, but I am used to seeing it on the floor. I am talking about knitted mince pies and puddings and mushrooms.

I have already sent my details to your assistant, llinos, so I do hope your Royal Magnificence will do me the honour of sending me a Yule card. And that irrepressible KP -- I hope he'll show us his project. You, however, are looking quite spectacular, if I may say so! I'll be checking the post everyday for your card! Cheers!

Thank you for sending your details. I know you will find this hard to believe, but sometimes I get a card back marked "Unknown - Return to Sender"! I find it incredible that:
a) There might be someone who would claim not to know me
b) That they would not want to keep my card

I dare say the mystery of what KP is doing may eventually be revealed. But in the meantime, I wonder who is doing all this strange knitting?

Happy Yule Time KM and may I just say that you are as photogenically Magnificent as ever (I simply must comment on the exquisite blueness of your eyes in the first photo) and it is good to see this hint of another adventure in the offing as you pursue your thrilling Quest to puzzle out just what KP is up to!

I am very much looking forward to this year's Yule Card!

(Don't worry about that big bubble over your head; it just means you have too many amazing thoughts to keep them all in your head!

You could be right about the big bubble.

Maybe I need to knit myself a bigger head.

Dearest Knitted Merry,

your Christmas card is the start for the Christmas season for us, we got a magnificent card last year and we would like to receive one this year, if possible. I think sweet llinos still has our address. :)

In that case I had better send your Magnificent Yule card ASAP so that you can begin your Yuletide Season. Hopefully as soon as it arrives you can start eating mince pies and chocolate!

I am pleased to hear that your address has not wandered off to be someone else's address, hate it when that happens!

Hello again! I'm very excited to anticipate another Magnificent Yule Card; I've saved every one I've received from you over the years.

I have a pup named Pippin, but she isn't knitted.

Are you quite sure your puppy isn't knitted? Her head looks decidedly knitted to me.

Thank you for your delicious Yule card which arrived this morning in time for breakfast.

(PS I did manage to stop KP from eating it though!)

Thank you for the Magnificent card, KM the Mag! What a pleasure to share in Knitted Pippin's knitted Yule delights. Please give my love (and that of my Pip-pup) to everyone, knitted and non-knitted!
