“We still haven’t found the anomaly.”
“No, that’s bad news. Good news makes people happy. Keep trying.”
“We found something out there.”
“Now you’re getting the hang of it. So then, problem’s solved?”
“No, we’re going to need a bigger boat.”
“The one you have is perfectly adequate.”
“Look at this, Lester. I dug this tooth out of the wreckage. The shark it’s from is at least 60 feet long.”
“I see. I’ll call the navy, shall I?”
“Yes!”
“Yes?”
“Call them!”
“Fine! Still here, Cutter? Chop, chop.”
