“Everyone was wrong about Stonehenge.”

“Of course everyone else was.”

“As I was saying..”

“Oh, please do continue.”

“About its original purpose.”

“Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t realise you needed prompting.”

“James!”

“I’m listening… What was it’s purpose?”

“It was built to control a nexus of anomalies.”

“A spaghetti junction?”

“A nexus. The anomaly we used is contained by the stones.”

“I had noticed.”

“Later societies moved them and broke the connections. But here and now they control the nexus.

“And how does that help us?”

“Our next anomaly is due over there.”

“Is it? How excellent. Don’t dawdle, Helen.”
