“Do you think I'll get presents this year?”

“Is there some reason you think you won't?”

“Well... the reindeer.”

“Ah. Them.”

“We did steal them.”

“I think you'll find we borrowed them. And we gave them back. Good as new.”

“But...”

“Jon... One, they were returned before Christmas Eve. Two, we still got presents last Christmas.”

“Maybe all our good deeds outweighed the theft?”

“Ah. You think blowing up Stonehenge, knocking holes in the walls at Balmoral and trampling Kew Gardens might count against you this year?”

“Do you think so?”

“Jon... I'm sure you'll be fine.”

“Promise?”

“Yes, Jon.”
