Lester staggered when a shockwave slammed into the room, regaining his footing just in time to watch Burton's staff abandoning their posts as they fled to safety. Didn't they understand that if New Dawn wasn't shut down that nowhere would be safe?
He found Burton staring dumbfounded at the monitors and apparently deaf to his shouted queries. Lester shook Burton hard and ground out, “Rumour has it you consider yourself a genius. Prove it and help me stop this.”
“It's too late.”
Lester squelched the temptation to slap Burton, settling for shaking him again. “How do I shut it off?”
