A/N: For the P100 challenge 326: Proper Procedure. Part 15 of my Strange Bedfellows drabble series and follows on from Where The Hell?
James knew the proper procedure for situations such as the one he found himself in. The list was clear in his mind, every step from checking for injury to intelligence gathering and escape.
Once he was satisfied about his ability to move (limited without searing pain), location (no fucking clue), responsible party (Helen, of course), and reason (who knew, this was Helen after all), James knew procedure demanded he should wait and observe.
However, lying injured in a bed with no idea where Jon was or what nefarious plans Helen had concocted now, James had no wish to follow procedure.
