James stared out of the frost-rimmed window, looking up almost mesmerized at the full moon and feeling his blood race through his veins. The need to run, to prowl, to hunt grew ever stronger in his heart.
He smiled softly, recalling reading in his youth about the alternative names given to each month's full moon. Once he had realised his own nature, James had found himself wondering if January's Wolf Moon was connected to his own people, if it had once been special to other werewolves.
It led to him wondering just how common his own kind had once been.
