Matt watched Connor taking readings from the anomaly and knew he couldn't keep quiet. He couldn't stand witnessing Connor's and Lester's relationship self-destruct when they were so clearly still in love without trying to help. He'd learnt in the future, where life was all too often short and brutal, that love should be seized with both hands and fought for.
Matt checked Becker was preoccupied before approaching Connor. He had to make him realise love shouldn't be thrown away... and then, he sighed, try and convince Lester of the same.
“Connor?”
Connor turned and, in that instant, the anomaly rippled.
