You're probably definitely more advanced than I am. I've only finished two scarfs. I'm still trying to finish the first one I've started with size 9 needles and its been sitting on my desk for months. I also have a legwarmer I started for my friend around Xmas time that is in the works and another scarf I started two days ago.
I still can't understand the knitting lingo. I wish I could kint stuff like you're mentioning.
PLEASE tell me you've seen the stitch 'n' bitch books by debbie stoller? they were my BIBLE to begin with!! s'n'b has great beginner projects and clear and simple diagrams.. plus interesting feministy dialogue to go with it. i love her books. and i've only been knitting about a year now.. i just became obsessed and immersed myself in it. :>
that last photo, the yarn looks delicious! when you come to wales, you'll be in close proximity to the colinette factory and they make the yummiest yarn IN THE WHOLE WORLD EVER!!!
