*hugs* Fortunately, we don't have to perfect all the time...what matters is doing the best we can. And you clearly have very high expectations for yourself, which is fantastic most of the time...but sometimes you just have to let go and be open to receiving grace.
i agree with the person just posted too. i get hard on myself all the time, but it's good to remember that we're not perfect and that in our sinfulness we can go back to him and he redeems us. also, don't question your call to be a missionary because of a few faults! (also I didn't know that you wanted to do that!) God will slowly mold us to be like Him. But I also agree that having that high goal in mind (missionary), makes me less likely to sin. It's holding onto the vision and hope for that high goal is the problem for me.
anyways, thanks for the heads up about the AMCAS app. luckily that day i decided to stay up from my jetlag and start working on it. i entered in my course work yesterday. a little nerve-wracking with all those little rules! (i did foreign coursework and a college class in high school, so it made it super complicated..) i'm paranoid i entered in something wrong and that they'll have to send it back to me! haha best of luck to you too! it's always good to have you as a pre-med friend!
