God, I hate this weather...

I just bought 2.17 pounds of whole almonds at Tops at 1:15 AM. I will not do with them what I intend to, not now, because I am a thoughtful roommate sometimes in the middle of the night (but not always, no). And I am rather tired. I'm getting weird again, kids. Not crazy, just weird

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones? That was the first show I worked for SGP at University of Florida. Got in for free.

They were the first really cool concert I remember seeing, back in October 1991.

I really like almonds, especially for breakfast. Dry roasted and heavily salted. You could put them in a cake! I made a really yummy apricot-almond loaf once.

I am also really into the music they use on This American Life. I know I've heard them play tracks from The Album Leaf's In a Safe Place too. Do you happen to know what Air and Flecktones albums have been used? I'd love to grab some more of that stuff.

I listen to TAL every monday at work along with Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me. I don't think I've ever heard a bad episode. I look forward to seeing the new TAL TV show once it's out on DVD.
