Some of you saw that last entry as appearing at noon on Sunday. That's not the case. It was posted at 3:25 AM. Lordy. you do realize that Raleigh Street Cleaners is just Pal Joey sending your clothes off to a real dry cleaner, right?

oh, and if you are in need of a decent, honest, fair and oh-so-reliable mechanic, you should try Bob Graves.

You know, I thought about the "where is this cleaning HAPPENING" issue as I dropped things off, but it seemed totally fine & normal. Perhaps because my mom's dry cleaners place also sends their stuff off (is that true? I think so. Let's pretend it is.) That actually makes me feel better than a dry cleaning business run IN a barber shop...

Thanks for the mechanic recommendation!

How does blogging help people? I can see how keeping a journal or diary and getting your most private thoughts on paper might be therapeutic, but how does broadcasting all that to the world help resolve one's problems? I would think therapy might be more beneficial.

Blogging's a good venue for "all those thoughts that you feel you need to tell somebody, but it doesn't matter who". Or "stuff you feel like telling a LOT of people and just want to do it easily." Both of which comprise a lot, for some people. Myself included, natch.

And I'd argue that blogging/journaling's a good starting point or substitute-if-necessary for therapy. Maybe writing things out doesn't solve anything, but at least you've laid things out.
