Yeah, the Dread Pirate is on holiday for a week, well, it officially started on Saturday with the first LRP event of the year.
It seems I can drop myself into things without too much effort.  Namely handing back a sash/ banner/ bit of cloth thing that

The time of the Tuatha de Dannon is gone. Everyone should get over it. By the time they stopped, they/we were not massively respected, not particularly well liked and seen as a group of people trying to recapture the glory days or a bunch of stoners who never came out of their tent. I feel I can say this because my character was one of them. I see no purpose in trying to start up a group who will no longer work within the system and who have masses of baggage attached to their name.

This is not me starting an argument with you Steve, this is me stating what I feel about a group I used to RP with.

Tuatha de Morrigan however - as long as they dont end up tarred with the same brush by just being called 'Tuatha', (see 'baggage associated with the name' comment) - sounds like a good idea.

and the only reason Kate didnt rope you into a ritual is cos there wasn't one...

I agree Ju,
I created this character for my own fun and my own aims. There was no intention of starting any group of any form. I rarely used the Tuatha De Morrigan name because it's his own belief of who he is rather than that of an actual group. Mostly he introduced himself as a Priest of the Morrigan.
I just find the whole thing that I had come to reform the Tuatha De Dannan quite funny, because it's untrue!
Not only that, no-one knows I can contribute to rituals anyway :P

Well, woot. :)

As for not knowing you can contribute, that doesnt stop Kate, I've had Tiggerat and Aderyn and Kiera in rituals before and none of them can contribute... :P so your card is marked, matey boy!

I think the problem was that someone heard you say Tuatha de Morrigan, and with the usual LRP grapevine or forest fire or whatever we call it these days, somehow that was translated into "ooh Tuatha, he must mean Tuatha de Dannan". Kate had Austin come up and tell her "good luck with helping Cyrban reform the Tuatha de Dannan" about half an hour after you, me and Frankie did the bonding thing in the courtyard, which made me laugh muchly once I'd got over being highly confused!

Morrigan for the win...
