Back from the dead

I always tend to have these entries where I find myself with a mountain of updates to relate. It happens not just on LJ, but, really, everything I try to maintain (website, all the other non-online journals in the past, etc etc). I'm trying to be good about taking pictures, but not having a camera makes it hard these days.

first of all, i got confused when you told me that you posted cause i didn't see the entry at the very top... i suppose you had it on draft while editing as i so often do as well.

secondly, because of the small font and contrasting colours, your posts always make my head hurt and my eyes vibrate slightly and i find myself looking away from the screen often. it's trippy. it's almost like going into another world to fully experience your posts. fun times.

thirdly, it's so interesting to imagine the culmination of a period of your life and how much everything has changed. to imagine the people you hung out with or the places you went... or like you said a piece of music that transports you back to a certain time in your life and the memories evoked by that trigger. it's like watching yourself grow up... sigh....

Are the colours that weird? To me, it's a tranquil, almost maroon colour background with grey text. I thought the white looked too harsh. And too "web".

Or are you talking about the comment boxes and stuff? Because I was too lazy to define new colours for those...
