I am starting to worry about our sales out at Sherwood. I keep telling myself that we do most of our sales at the end and to not worry. I ended up doing yard work. It was good and cathartic. I'm doing better. This last weekend was even worse as far as sales, but I'm not freaking out this time. It is... what it is...

A lot of faire sales seem to happen the last weekend...regular fairegoers have had their eye on something for a few weeks, and then they finally get it before faire closes. I bet your booth is one like that :) Of course, you could always play around with your organization, see if rearranging things stirs up the 'buying' energy, perhaps?

I didn't have noooo moneys last weekend, so I was just helping Brendan pick out stuff to spend his on :) That was fun too.

It's one of those things that is hard to gauge. It's very unpredictable. And, of course, weather trumps all. I talked to several people who had felt that Sherwood was perfectly poised to really fill the parking lots. All we can do at this point is to see what the next three weekends bring us.
