I am now very nervous to go see Indy 4, based off reviews. From what I can tell, I should probably just suck it up and see it out of devotion, but .... I know how I reacted when the prequels came out for SW, and I do not wish to go into that experience again ever never ever.

A stalemate.

YAY SYTYCD! I will attempt to watch it tonight, myself. I'm going to have to stay home, but yeah.

I thought Indy 4 rocked. Over at rottentomatoes.com the consensus there is that it's not perfect but it's pretty damn awesome. Trust me, it's far, *far* superior to the SW prequels in every fathomable way. I really think people are getting disappointed because they're A) expecting it to be as good as Raiders (which TOD and LC weren't either) and B) change their life in some profound way. In reality, it's a big, loud, silly, totally fun and completely improbable B movie romp.

All I know is, me and my friends haven't yelled, cheered, sung, and waved our fists in the air so much in a movie theater. Ever. I would recommend going with an exuberant group of friends if you can.

*breathes sigh of relief*

You just made me feel infintely better. All I was hearing was that it wasn't good, so to hear that it's mostly just people being disappointed with their expectations ... that helps.

Thanks!
