This morning, the world is alive

I woke up already knowing today would be beautiful. I woke up because the light changed, and the light's so bright, because of all the snow.
Birds were playing in the trees beyond the panes of my window, suddenly clearer, no longer camouflaged by the brown branches, because they're not just brown any more. It was a joy to see. Sheer, instictual ( Read more... )

I'm so glad you liked it!! I knew you would. I remember feeling a real, amazing connection to Cassandra when I read it first at aged 11ish, like she's both a part of yourself and somehow your friend.

I always hope he does come back in the end. What do you think?

Aah, you know me well :)

I never doubted for a second that he would come back. When you read it, you just know he's got every intention of returning.

It's such a sure and strong book. Sometimes it was difficult to find it a work of fiction. It kind of wasn't to me and I don't suppose it's that to you. There was such definite meaning behind every word.

You're absoultely right; there's this connection. You're with her all the time, even though she's writing to no one in particular. It truly does encompass you.

Those last sentences! Oh that book sounds wonderful :-)
I shall have to borrow it from someone. It certainly reads very differently to fight club ;-)
