Jury duty around here isn't quite as interesting as it sounds, and neither is the selection process. You can learn more about how I got chosen for jury duty and what could have happened here. I was suppose to appear in a superior court jury (which could have lasted 3-4 days), but there doesn't seem anything big enough going on this early in the year that a jury would be needed. I was suppose to serve some time between 1/2 and 1/16, but when I called to find out when I was suppose to report, I was told to call back on 1/15 for further instructions, so it doesn't look like I'll be doing my civic duty this year.
Oddly enough, I was initially suppose to serve some time in July but my service time was pushed back to January. Lucky for me my big vacation to Europe wasn't interrupted. I was a little nervous that that might happen, but I was very glad that it didn't.
Oh, and regarding the Agatha Christie books, I read "And Then There Were None" upon your recommendation several months ago, and you had recommended "Secret of Chimneys" back then as well.

I thought you had already read 'Secret of Chimneys'? ::scratches head::
