I finally looked on my external hard drive to see what had been saved before the mishap that is now referred to as "The Great Hard Drive Poop '08". I Barack'd it.

I got my computer back and they were not able to recover any of my stuff off my old hard drive. Now I have to start from scratch with my music/movie collection. This, of course, sucks balls. The good news is that Mike had about half of my music on this external hard drive (including a very extensive Radiohead collection), so there's that ( Read more... )

Yesterday my computer pooped on me. In other words, my hard drive crashed. I took my iMac to the Apple store and I have to get my shit replaced. They're going to try and recover my stuff, but I'm not counting on it. Most of my important photo stuff is backed up, but I'm looking at losing over 300GB worth of music and movies/TV shows. I am astounded that there are actually people out there that are going to vote for John Mccain. It's not really him that I dislike, it's his dumbfuck running mate.
