The BBC report I was listening to on the ride to work was discussing how people have brought beds, gas canisters, beer kegs, and the like to the top of the mountain.

What's funny is that I have been to the Highland Games in Fort William and watched people run up Ben Nevis and back down again. I even have video of it. It's the tallest mountain on the island of Britain.
