I will be very glad when I'm finally done with the email clean-up. Not only is it tedious, but I don't seem to be able to get anything else done. I didn't even manage to make cookie dough yesterday -- although in fairness, I apparently should have had a sub-item on my to-do list for "go buy cookie ingredients". Again

1) Well, I've got a chance to use my flamingo & related cookie cutters. I can hardly pass that up.

2) I have a pretty good personal system for handling my email, but it fails to take into account "my account will be vaporized any day now". ;-) And my system for archiving stuff out of the account and onto my hard drive, while manual and inelegant, would be fine if I hadn't blown it off for over half a decade. Bad me, and so now I'm paying for it.

I at least can live with my approach in that it is simple. keep it all!

This is pretty much my approach, too. I just keep most of it on my hard drive, which I theoretically have control over.
