All the medical advice I've seen is that a slow, steady weight loss is sustainable while a fast weight loss is almost always followed by a weight gain.

Thanks Tim. I "fell off the wagon" quite a bit last year. The number would been better than 45# if I had been either more consistent with workouts, or more judicious in my eating choices, or both. I am pleased with my more recent progress though.
Thanks, bud. I'm pleased. 329 was an all time high, after the Holiday gorge fest and workout slack-off. I never really hung out at that weight. Good work on your own weight quest. I'm hoping I can sustain this momentum through spring, when I can take to the roads and the trails on my bikes. That's my real goal this time around.
Hey, the graph has consistently gone DOWN and now that you're back on the horse bike, it will continue to go down. You should be very proud of yourself. Congratulations!

I'm always afraid of falling off of the wagon and gaining it back. This time is different, I hope.
