So hey, I've been meaning to ask... Do we have to keep these guys in those ball things? Is it some kind of law or something? I know it makes for better entrances and all, sure, but at least half of mine don't seem to really like it that much. Compared to being inside of them anyway.

I find that they have an easier time resting if they're in their ball.

They can try, but it's not comfortable.

As I understand it, they would make their own nests in the wild, but when you're on the move the balls provide a portable nest for them.

You sure about that? I mean... The balls are just little balls. When they're outside, though, they can be experiencing the adventure along with you!

I don't think there is any law against pokemon being out of their balls. Chansey has never been inside her pokeball unless she gets tired from walking.
