You don't get a/b/o? Makes sense... I didn't get it either until it was in femslash. Have you tried the femslash ones (I can give you a few recs if you want)? They work so much better (at least for me).
Roller Coasters are sometimes very scary. I didn't mind them when I was younger, but nowadays I feel too bothered to get on.
And I would pay through my nose for Carmen Sandiego as a Time Lord, but more for Melisande.

sure, shoot me some recs. i would probably prefer femslash. i'm willing to give anything a chance. but on the surface it just doesn't sound like me.
ha, i HAVE thought of a Kushiel/Doctor Who crossover where Melisande is a fobwatched Time Lady. it makes so much sense! and The Doctor can't figure out whether she'll try to take over the universe or not. And Donna gets offered a job at Mandrake House. so many fic ideas, not enough time.
Your questions:
1) What is the meaning behind your username?
2) What is your favorite tv show/book/movie from your childhood?
3) Do you have any strange hobbies or quirks?
4) What are your three favorite narrative or literary kinks?
5) If you had unlimited time, ambition and skill, what fic would you most want to write?

Also this: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8765740/1/Animals-and-Prizes which does an amazing job of exploring the social ramifications of a/b/o dynamics.

See, if Melisande was a Time Lady, she'd probably make sure we had enough time to write these fics...
Anyway, dead tired. I'll do these question tomorrow, probably after work.

a/b/o-- it's terribly judgemental, really, because I don't know much about it at all, just enough to know that it's Not For Me.
Your five books are basically a to-read list for me-- Wise Child especially sounds pretty cool.
Ooh, that O'Brien fic idea is brilliant!
