Finally, a singularitarian who understands the absurdity of making predictions about the post-singularity!

I too enjoyed Eric's comments, though it seems to beg the question of whether the aliens/advanced beings have, in fact, failed in their objective.

It seems that if we are to pronounce the ET/AB program a failure that we would have to know what it was that they had hoped to achieve and the time frame in which they hoped to achieve it.

What Eric misses in his commentary is that the ongoing Japanese nuclear disaster is, to a degree, a devastating critique of the "resilience" of the system he is touting
