there is a cultural difference here versus when i was growing up in india. it is different in india now..with individuality being more important. it wasnt so when i was in school..the order in which respects to be paid is 'mata, pita, guru, deivam..'...first mother for giving birth..second, to the father, ffor being the reason for existence...then, to the teacher..for being the deliverer of knowledge and finally, the last one being god ( ... )
