Zeitgeist: Addendum blissentia November 20 2008, 02:40:26 UTC
Following the widely acclaimed film Zeitgeist: The Movie, Zeitgeist: Addendum provides no shortage of insight. It begins with an analysis of the current global situation, revealing the realities of our money system and the "corporatocracy" it supports. The film features such notables as John Perkins, author of "confessions of an economic hitman", who explains how developing nations worldwide have been forced to succumb to this system.

Suggesting that human behavior is environmentally conditioned, the film then argues against the claim that because of our nature, we cannot avoid such systems.

The film ends by presenting alternatives available now that would radically alter the current trajectory of our species. Following that, it ends with a list of actions that anyone can take to actually bring about change.

Please watch the film, reflect on it, and forward the message on to your friends.

I've only seen the first half of the film, but I think it is most definitely worth the time it takes to watch it.

I'm not sure I would attribute Tsarion's conclusions to his research. Rather, his research seems aimed at confirming his suspicions. Were I flippant, I would suggest right temporal lobe epilepsy.

But that's just my opinion. The Tsarion interviews (2/3rds of them, anyway) were quite entertaining.
