What I Did on My Mini-Vacation

This past week has been fairly surreal. For one reason or another, since last Sunday I've only worked on Tuesday and a half day Friday (blizzard on Wednesday and Thursday; helped a friend pack to move Friday afternoon, Presidents' Day today). 3rd person has definitely not gone out of style! I constantly see people saying that they hate 1st person, so 3rd is still the default.

And you will like Magic Burns a lot, I think. I liked Magic Bites but I ADORED Magic Burns.

I don't think third person is out of style! (*I* find it easier to write in first person, because it gets me (and hopefully the reader) deeper into the main character. It also keeps me out of trouble with point of view.) :)

Well, my advice is to test drive both, I love the MINI Cooper, but when I went on a test drive with friends we could feel every bump in the road, which diminished the appeal for me.

On the other hand, my cousin just got on and she hasn't been complaining about this at all, plus she overlooked another car while driving out from a sideroad and the Cooper barely got a dent while the other car crumbled like yesterday's newpaper (no one was seriously hurt), so it's a sturdy little thing.
