One of my New Year's resolutions is to post journal entries for my readership more often. That being the case, I figured the following point warranted more than just a casual remark on Twitter.

Short but sweet and I like that. I need to keep this in mind more often as I'm writing since, to be honest, I'm not always sure what the themes or some of my stories are.

For myself I definitely do not try to get it right in my head first. I always find it easier just to write a lot and then cut, revise, and rework (but I am not a fiction writer).

Glad to see that you're tackling the good ol' journal. Is this a New Year's resolution? ;)

I will admit I have given your work a few chances and still have yet to decide if I sway more towards liking it or disliking it (no offense, I swear!).

I've read a couple of short stories that I didn't like as much and yet there are the couple that I liked up until the sad ending. (*chuckles* ^^;)

What I will tell you is that I am in anticipation of your novel to see if this might be something that interests me. :)
