There is something about preaching as we experience it here in the 20th/21st century that is iconically male. Is it the folksiness of much of effective preaching? The register of excited male voices vs that of excited female voices? Or was Mary Daly really onto something with her labyrinth of uncovering and re-membering about the male stamp on
