Google search: outlook uk public holidays

First result:

1. Choose Tools | Options, then click Calendar Options.
2. On the Calendar Options dialog box, click Add Holidays.
3. In the Add Holidays to Calendar dialog box, check the countries or religions whose holidays you want to add, then click OK.

I'm afraid I don't have Outlook myself so I can't check that, and of course you may have tried it already.

The PC Pluslink slightly further down may be more relevant as it specifically metions public holidays missing after 2002. Hmm ... it may require manually adding all the holidays to the text file mentioned.

Good luck!

the PC plus one is indeed more helpful, as i have tried option one about azillion times today and only succeeded in having a zillion copies of each holiday up to the end of 2002.

but wahhhh the PC plus option involves manual labour. oh the pain. i may as well just enter things manually in the calendar as normal. what i really want to know is why this problem is happening to me and no one else in my office!

thank you very much for your help.

Thunderbird doesn't have a calendar function, it's just a mail client. Unless I've missed something...

i do have outlook 2000. piece of lame crap.

i have been sent an update which is making things work now - although it doesn't pick up all bank holidays - it is missing 27th dec and 2nd jan for example.
